Meet Jessica

Hi there! I’m Jessica, a mom of three, blogger, and the home cook behind The Ashcroft Family Table.

Food blogger Jessica Ashcroft smiles at with her kids at their kitchen table.

I grew up on classic comfort food with an Italian twist. Once I got married, I added my husband’s favorite recipes to my repertoire and found some real winners. Now I’m sharing all of our family’s go-to dinners to give you lots of easy ideas every week.

What You’ll Find on The Ashcroft Family Table

Dinner time can be hectic and stressful, especially when your kids refuse to eat the dish you just made.

All of the recipes on this blog are tried and true favorites in our home; meaning our kids eat these meals and absolutely love them! Plus, they are very affordable and easy to make.

Most of the recipes contain step-by-step photos and every recipe has detailed instructions to ensure you have success in your own kitchen.

I’ve included traditional American favorites like Hawaiian haystacks and cheesy macaroni casserole with plenty of traditional Italian dishes mixed in like lasagna with cottage cheese and authentic spaghetti and meatballs.

Facts about Jessica

  • I’ve been cooking since I was a little girl. I started with an Easy Bake and moved on to more mature cooking appliances once I got older 😉
  • My favorite foods are pasta, chips and salsa, Cafe Rio salads, and anything sweet (especially cake and donuts!).
  • I’m pretty picky about certain foods. You won’t see a lot of recipes with onions or fish on here, which makes my blog perfect for finding something your kids will eat!
  • I run two blogs; this food blog and a motherhood blog, Love Love Love.

Share Your Recipes

One of my goals with this blog is to take our family recipes passed down through generations and record them for future family to see.

I’d also love to add some of your favorites, too!

If you have a cherished family recipe you’d love to have published on my blog, please email it to me at [email protected]

Now, let’s get cooking!
