PESTO PIZZA PASTA SALAD

Ingredients

– Shaped pasta (rotini, bowtie, cavatappi, trottole) – Cherry or grape tomatoes – Pepperonis – Basil pesto  – Italian dressing – Olives – Shredded mozzarella cheese – Basil leaves, finely chopped – Parmesan cheese

Cook pasta

Cook pasta according to the package directions. Drain once done and rinse with cold water to cool.

Cut tomatoes and pepperoni

While the pasta is cooking, halve the tomatoes and pepperoni.

Add dressing

Add basil pesto and Italian dressing to pasta. Mix well until the pasta is evenly coated.

Add veggies

Add the tomatoes, pepperonis, and olives to the pasta and mix.

Add cheese and basil

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and fresh basil onto the salad and mix gently.
