Easy Gingerbread Trifle

– butter – sugar – molasses – egg – flour – baking soda – ground ginger – cinnamon – salt – milk

Ingredients

– French vanilla pudding mix – whipped topping – English toffee bits – caramel sauce

Make cake batter

Mix wet ingredients then add dry ingredients to create batter for gingerbread cake.

Bake

Pour batter into half sheet pan and bake cake for 22 minutes. Cook on baking rack.

Cube cake

Once cake has cooled, cut into 1 inch cubes.

Make pudding

Whisk milk and pudding mix together and allow to soft-set for 2 minutes.

Layer trifle

Layer cake, pudding, whipped cream, and toffee bits.
