S’mores have always been one of my favorite treats—there’s just something so delicious about that gooey marshmallow and melted chocolate combo!
This Christmas Air Fryer S’mores Dip is my easy twist on the classic, and it’s absolutely perfect for sharing during the holidays.
As we were dipping and enjoying this warm, chocolatey goodness, my daughter declared it the perfect “Santa snack.” I couldn’t agree more, and I thought her clever name fit perfectly.
Now it’s a new favorite in our house for Christmas Eve or any cozy winter night!
This recipe works because it’s:
- Quick and easy. Made in the air fryer, this recipe comes together in just minutes—perfect for busy holiday schedules!
- Minimal ingredients. With just a few pantry staples (chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers), it’s budget-friendly and stress-free.
- Kid-approved. Fun to make and even more fun to eat, this dip is a hit with little ones (and big ones too!).
- Festive and shareable. Served warm and gooey, it’s ideal for sharing around the table at holiday gatherings or as a treat for Santa.
Step-by-Step Instructions

Arrange a 10 ounce bag of regular-sized marshmallows in an air fryer silicone liner (or use foil).
Top with ¼ cup dark chocolate chips and ¼ cup peppermint chips.
Place the basket in the air fryer and cook for 5-10 minutes at 350 degrees until marshmallows are browned and chocolate chips are melty.
Top with holiday sprinkles, if desired, and serve with assorted cookies (I used ginger snaps, vanilla wafers, coconut rolls, speculoos sandwich crackers, and holiday sugar cookies).
Tips and Substitutions

I cooked the dip for more than 10 minutes and the marshmallows I used were still not melted all of the way. I think it’s the type of marshmallow (I used a vegan version) so just be aware if you’re using the same kind of marshmallow!
If your marshmallows don’t melt down all of the way, you can use 2 cookies to grab a single marshmallow and make a true s’more! The gingersnaps work best for this!
Using a silicone air fryer liner makes cooking and clean-up a breeze. But you can also use some foil to make a little bowl!

FAQs
Yes! You can easily make this in an oven. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the dip in an oven-safe dish for about 8–10 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden and gooey.
Graham crackers are a classic choice, but you can also use pretzels, cookies, or even fresh fruit like strawberries or apple slices for dipping.
If you have any leftovers (unlikely!), cover the dish with foil and store it in the refrigerator. To reheat, pop it back in the air fryer or oven at a low temperature until warmed through.
